I don't have a whole lot to say, and the reviewers above got most of the nitpicks, so really I just have a question... Have you read Twilight? Because this ...

Dude, Nu, this's insanity. With capital I and a capital SANITY. Okay, copying off of Will Ferrel, now. But anyways, yeah. One thing I noticed, (no matter how insignificant compared ...

I have read every single one of these chapters and I have to admit you are a fairly good writer. You have nice imagery, and you are descriptive. But I ...

I honestly don't know why everyone is going on and on about how good it is. No, the plot is good, the idea is good, but -- there's so little ...

There's nothing wrong with making the prologue - or preface - mysterious and flabbergasting. You have time to explain later. Also to describe the narrator - later. But do remember ...

I think Always got most of the nitpicks, so I'll just stick to the overall style... You switch from past to present tense, and back, a lot. It's bad grammar, ...

Okay, I'm not really one for nitpicks, especially when the story has bigger, more urgent problems. So I will not nitpick, but try to address bigger probs. Now, within YWS, ...

Not bad, but it's really choppy, and not long enough to get a real feel for the place your trying to put the reader in. I mean, the problem with ...

Niiice! I'd rather not nit-pick, considering others hav mostly gotten it down, but I agree one hundred percent with Chern. An imagination that awesome really could go a long away. ...

I think you're going a little bit too far with the whole 'completely, ridiculously random'ness. After a time, even the funniest random can get dumb. And you didn't even wait. ...

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much all of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.
